Predicted results of Global Prediction of COVID-19 Pandemic in Lanzhou University show that this round of the pandemic outbreak in Hong Kong is expected to be effectively brought under control by the end of August under the effective and prompt prevention and control measures implemented by the Hong Kong government, with the estimated number of infected people around 1,650. By the end of the current pandemic outbreak, the number of cumulative confirmed cases in Hong Kong will be about 2,800.
